Holly de Jong - Writer/Casting Director
Holly de Jong has written many short stories and Bert & Amanda is her first for the screen. Apart from writing, her storytelling experience on stage and in front of the camera is extensive. She has worked at the National Theatre and with the Almeida theatre company in New York and London and recently at the Ustinov Studio, Bath, and at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield in the stage adaptation of Arthur Miller's screenplay about the female orchestra in Auschwitz, 'Playing for Time'. Numerous TV appearances include Black Adder II, Poirot, and the screen adaptation of The Weather in the Streets. She was Newt's mother, Ann Jorden in Aliens and Sara in Electric Dreams.
Joe Olmstead - Director
Joe Olmstead is a narrative and short-form filmmaker who graduated from the University for the Creative Arts, UK with an MA in Filmmaking. His graduation film, Development of June, screened at festivals in the UK and US, including the Academy Award qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival and the Blow-Up International Arthouse Film Fest. The film won the best drama short at the RAGFF in New York City.
Judyta Potocka - Director of Photography
Judyta moved from Poland to Wales in 2014 to study Film Theory w/ Fine Arts at Aberystwyth University, ultimately transferring to the University of Chichester in West Sussex. At Chichester, she focused on writing and directing where she gained her Bachelors in Film Production and Screenwriting.
Judyta continued her postgraduate studies in Filmmaking at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey gaining a Distinction in Cinematography. Judyta's recent works focus on topics of identity, surveillance, and voyeurism. She currently lives in London.
